Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials
In this chapter you will learn to multiply and divide polynomials using models and symbols, and to simplify polynomials expressions by combining like terms.
Multiplying Polynomials
-When you are multiplying polynomials the number that is alone outside of the brackets is going to be multiplied to the rest of the numbers in the brackets.
-When you are multiplying polynomials the number that is alone outside of the brackets is going to be multiplied to the rest of the numbers in the brackets.
-When you are multiplying polynomials then you will add the exponents. As well if the variables doesn't have an exponent attached to it then the variable still counts as a 1.
Dividing Polynomials
-When you divide polynomials the exponents you will subtract the exponents and the same rules apply to dividing as it does multiplying.
-When dividing you would divide the 8x³ to the 2x and then 2x² to the 2x
